Theme of the week: Our values. In the Gospel reading this week Jesus is described as a vine and we are the branches that bear good fruit. Jesus wants us to know that we are the branches who cannot stand alone. Our nourishment comes from him and through following him we grow and develop. This helps us understand how closely interconnected we are with Jesus and with one another. We need Jesus, Jesus needs us and we all need each other. We held our annual pupil inset day today. Across the day students explored different topics and received training on the latest research-led strategies for extended writing, formative assessment, relational practice and revision approaches.
